I've already explained our needs to Mi-an, she'll be making the Sandsleds. We need you to help us build up some of the things involved in creatin' such an attraction! Our tourism profits will quintuple overnight! And the mental health crisis, I assume. Sounds sleek and sophisticated, something the youth can identify with. Seeing as Gecko Station has recently become unoccupied, we now have the opportunity to turn a negative into a positive: I present to you Sandsledding! But we won't call it that, no, too simple: we'll call it " Sandrunning!" I must thank you again for getting the Church to support this project. Well, Catori, why don't you tell our fine Builder friend here what we came up with? So I got together with our resident expert in fun, Catori here, and. The results he came back with, I must say, were rather shocking: eighty percent of those who took the survey reported that they were at least suffering some form of anxiety! Some from the Geeglers, some from the state of things. That child went around to everyone in town to check up on their wellness he has such a big heart. I take it you got our letter? My, that Burgess. When the player arrives to the City Hall, they are met by Matilda and Catori. Go to City Hall The Church of the Light asked you to join their discussion in City Hall. Despite this, it feels sturdy enough, without too much of the plasticky 'creaking' feeling you might expect. Most obviously, the construction is almost entirely of plastic. Yamaha have kept the cost, size and weight of the MOX6 to a minimum in several ways. The MOX6's back panel includes a pair of USB ports, MIDI In, Out and Thru sockets and (all on quarter-inch jack sockets) three footswitch inputs, a pair of stereo outputs, a pair of stereo inputs and a headphone port. If you are unfamiliar with the XS, the review in the October 2007 issue of SOS explains its features in some detail. There are changes and additions to some menus, and occasional operational variances, but since none of them represent a drastic departure from the overall functionality of a Motif XS, this review will concentrate on the more immediate differences. The internal synth architecture of the MOX is essentially the same as the Motif XS - the two instruments even share the same sample ROM and Preset Voices. True portability would, of course, mean the option of battery power, however, the MOX requires mains power for its external 12V PSU, so producing smash hits in a rowing boat is probably not an option. The 88-note MOX8 weighs in at 14.8kg, which may prove to be more than just a handful for some, but is still remarkably light for a weighted action keyboard. The 61-note MOX6 on review here, at a mere 7kg, can be lifted easily with just one hand. Simply connect one via USB to a DAW-equipped laptop, add a microphone and a pair of headphones, and you have a keyboard-based recording setup that's light enough for one person to carry around.īoth MOX models are of comparatively lightweight construction, so they're far more portable than your typical synth workstation. Although having no onboard sampling or audio recording facilities of their own, they are designed to serve as the heart of a compact audio/MIDI music production system. The MOX6 and MOX8 synthesizers are a subset of Yamaha's popular Motif range, borrowing the majority of their design from the Motif XS. Is this the way forward for synthesizer workstations? Yamaha's MOX range offers unusually tight integration with your DAW. Illustrated basic guide.- Sample projects and video tutorials for pro closet designers.Oh, this is the best part of all. Divide the interior into compartments, easily add accessories, design the doors in detail and SHOW OFF your artistic skills sharing the results with your friends. Sketch Arm is the ONLY tool for conceptual design in 3D that lets you create in a few minutes with your own fingers a fully customized closet. If you are interested in interior design or just want to create the perfect closet for your home, this is an app worth checking out. Its multiple view options give you the ability to visualize how your design will look in the larger context of a room. Sketch Arm is a good program that works smoothly and delivers on the features it promises. This may or may not be a major drawback depending on how important it is to get your design out there on the various social platforms. Limited sharing: There is an option in the app for sharing your design in an email, but most apps these days facilitate sharing on Facebook or other social networks, as well, and that is missing from this app. If you seem to be having trouble using a feature, the app will automatically open a help diagram to show you the steps for the particular process you're attempting. Intuitive interface: As you begin to design your closet, all of the tools you need are right in front of you and easily accessible. This is very helpful, and you can bring it up at any time while you're using the app by tapping the book icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Thorough tutorial: When you first open the app, a tutorial pops up outlining all of the app's features and explaining how to access them. Set your own dimensions, and even pick out colors and doors to make the design match your vision. Sketch Arm gives you the tools to design as many closets as you'd like, complete with drawers, shelves, bars, and hangers, and examine them in 3D. While Dashlane is not the cheapest password manager, it does have one of the widest plan varieties. You can get a 14-day free trial on all of 1Password’s plans, compared to up to 30 days for free with Dashlane and LastPass. LastPass’s costs $4 per month but limits you to only six people. Dashlane’s Friends & Family plan cuts off at 10 people and costs $7.49 per month. Families must pay for a premium plan with any password manager they choose, and 1Password’s pricing is competitive.įor $4.99 per month, families of two and more can access all of the password manager’s features except single sign-on (SSO), available only to Business and Enterprise customers. While 1Password is the only password manager on this list that doesn’t offer an always-free plan, these free options are always limited to individuals only. Finally, item icons have been updated, the sidebar was redesigned, and there’s now a detailed view for items and vaults. You’ll also find entry editing is easier in the latest version, and improved performance and security. 1Password 8 also offers full support on Linux, further expanding 1Password’s operating system compatibility. The newest version of 1Password, called 1Password 8, introduces dark mode and more admin features, like copying, archiving, and creating password groups. Family plans also include the option to add guest accounts, although this costs $1 per guest.ġPassword is best for families of all sizes who can use the additional features for a flat rate of $4.99 per month. The family plan includes basic reporting capabilities, which are essentially just monitoring your account, but I consider this a huge asset over the individual plan. To date, there’s no evidence of 1Password ever being hacked. It also has one of the best 2FA features I’ve encountered that includes a wide variety of authentication options. These features include military-grade AES 256-bit encryption alongside a Secret Key to keep your data safe. You can find other great cheaper password managers, but, in my opinion, 1Password offers superior features and usability that warrant its marginally higher price. While 1Password doesn’t offer the lowest-cost family plan on this list, I chose it as the best for families overall because I feel it offers the best value for the price. In a crowded market, it stands out for its exceptional user interface (UI) and value, especially for family plans. 1Password remains one of the best password managers I’ve tested. The 2xAA configuration works better with alkalines or NiMHs while the 1xAA works best with a lithium-ion battery. Due to the reflector design, it throws a very tight beam with the shape of the LED.Ĭ3 - The black anodized version can take 1xAA or, with an extension tube, 2xAA batteries. This light is unique in that the LED is mounted backwards just behind the lens, sending all of its light into the reflector and then out the front. WF-008 Recoil Thrower - 1x18650 Cree XR-E Q5 1-mode light. The UltraFire C8 throws better and has better heat management than the P60 hosts In 2010, a new version of the 504B started showing up which lacked the anti-roll hex collar. Seems to usually be available in glossy black or shiny aluminum finish, but duller, slightly greenish aluminum tint has also been reported. WF-504B - Similar to the 503B but the tail extends around the clicky, allowing this model to tailstand. Seems to be the same as the UltraFire C1 except that model often includes a prominent stainless steel attack bezel. The tail clicky protrudes from the back of the light so it does not tailstand. WF-503B - A clone of the SureFire 6P or Solarforce L2 with an anti-roll 6-sided collar integrated into the head. WF-502B - Similar to the 501B but slightly heavier. WF-501B - This light is popular with bicyclists due to the lighter weight. Parts can often be exchanged between the different models and sometimes even with Solarforce lights. Only the 501 was available as an "A" for 1 CR123A. The 501 and 502 were also available in a "C" length for 3 CR123A and "D" for 4 CR123A. The "B" means the body is long enough to hold 2 CR123A cells (or 1 18650). There are many permutations of these lights available. As such the type of LED, number of modes, type of reflector, and other qualities are based on the drop-in, not directly on the host. Run it from the build directory: install_dir/bin/inkscape It will still use all the files (including the preferences.xml) that reside in the ~/.config/inkscape directory. It avoids installation into system locations (where it could conflict with other versions of Inkscape) and allows running multiple versions of Inkscape in parallel. The recommended - DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX argument allows to specify a custom isolated installation location (in the example above install_dir/ inside the build folder).Feel free to adjust this to the number of hardware threads (physical cores) available on your computer. The optional -j8 argument to make tells it to run 8 jobs in parallel.Using ccache is optional but speeds up compilation.DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$/install_dir -DCMAKE_C_COMPILER_LAUNCHER=ccache -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER_LAUNCHER=ccache To compile with CMake, do the following: mkdir buildĬmake. Install build dependenciesĭownload and run the script to install everything required for compiling Inkscape (check script to see if your distribution is supported): wget -v -O install_dependencies.shīash install_dependencies.sh -recommended Compile Open a terminal at the root of the folder into which you downloaded the source code in the previous step. If you are on a slow machine, have limited disk space or limited internet bandwidth, you can use shallow clone and single branch clone options to limit the amount of data it will download: git clone -depth=1 -single-branch -recurse-submodules -shallow-submodule Building Inkscape on Linux To update this code later, change into the download folder and use: git pull -recurse-submodules & git submodule updateīy default git will download every branch and every commit. To obtain the latest source code, use the following command (downloads into a subdirectory of your current working directory called "inkscape" by default): git clone -recurse-submodules With this setup, you will be able to commit once you are approved as a member of the Inkscape Developers team on GitLab. Git config -global user.email " Real Name is your real name or a pseudonym you want to use (it should be recognizable to people on the mailing list) and is your e-mail for Inkscape-related correspondence (it can be obfuscated if you want - but the obfuscated email address must be added at gitlab as one of your email addresses, so your commits can be associated with your account). Once you set up your GitLab account, execute the following commands: git config -global user.name " Real Name" We recommend to set up a GitLab account (see above) before obtaining the source code, since that way it is easier to commit later once you get commit access. On most Linux systems, you need to install the git package. Platform-specific installation instructions are available here. Inkscape uses the git version control system. Just downloading the "Release" source code files is not enough, as you will need to get the latest bleeding-edge sources in order to develop Inkscape. The first step is to obtain the source code. Detailed instructions for setting up an account are available in the Gitlab user tutorial. To report bugs and help with technical subjects you will need a GitLab account. If you only want to test but not change the code, you can save time and download the prebuilt latest development version. For the details, take a look at the Inkscape Wiki and other specific documentation, and don't hesitate to ask in the chat or mailing list (see below). This is intended to be a quick reference to getting started with Inkscape development. Getting Started with Inkscape Development It’s worth mentioning that the app is available in multiple languages. In order to start using the tool, you only need to sign up for an account, download the installation file, and grab the authentication code. I can roll it up in the bottom of a tote in case I get cold!ĭown Sweater Full-Zip Hooded Jacket// I have this jacket in both black and navy. It’s my go-to for summer nights when it starts getting chilly after the sun goes down. It has a lot of warmth for being so thin, especially when layered well. Even though it’s a “puffer,” it’s super lightweight which makes it perfect for traveling. Nano Puff // This was the jacket I bought for Alaska! I wore it every single day. If you’re a Nordstrom girl, they also carry a bunch of the popular styles there! Backcountry has sales now and then ( which I do my best to share on here when they happen!) and Patagonia has one or two sales a year. I’ve been lucky to have friends who have access to the friends and family sales. So even though I have a bunch of pieces, I try to find them on sale as much as possible. It’s not an exaggeration to say that I wear something Patagonia at least once a day. I may not be climbing mountains or hiking the PCT, but I wear all of my Patagonia pieces quite a lot. The quality of the product reflects the company’s ethos. That alone makes it worth the higher cost. A large part of the price is because Patagonia cares about its supply chain and employees. If you’re in between sizes, you can go down if you want a more fitted look or up if you want a more relaxed look (or plan on layering). I rely heavily on their reviews and double check what people have said about sizing based on that. I buy my Patagonia almost exclusively through Backcountry now because of their quick shipping and ridiculously good customer service. I would say that almost always the sizing is “true to size,” with a few exceptions. I’m writing this post so I’ll have something to link to (saves me a lot of time! □), but I also thought it would be generally helpful since I do get the questions a lot. Whenever I’m wearing a piece on my Instagram story, I get flooded with questions about sizing and quality and if I recommend it. I was hooked ever since– I knew the quality was well-worth the price. It turns out that I wore it nearly every single day. I actually bought a jacket and left the tags on because I wasn’t sure that I’d even wear it during the trip. It wasn’t until I was going to Alaska that I started to dive into the brand on my own. My friend Victoria (aka Little V!) loved the brand and would get items for our crew gear. I had a few pieces of Patagonia in college. Cold Weather Patagonia Review: My Favorites! |
